On September 24, 2025<\/strong>, the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC)<\/strong>, West India Council, hosted Hon. Phil Murphy, Governor of New Jersey<\/strong>, during his visit to India as part of the New Jersey India Economic Mission 2025<\/strong>. The meeting in Mumbai<\/strong> lasted two hours and was attended by around 80 delegates<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Participants included representatives from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA)<\/strong>, the U.S. Consulate General Office<\/strong>, organizations such as Choose New Jersey, members of IACC, as well as delegates from investment firms, funds, and universities. All attendees shared a common goal of promoting trade, investment, and business collaboration with the State of New Jersey.<\/p>\n Mr. Mandar Inamdar<\/strong> from Fidel<\/a> represented the company at this meeting. He had the opportunity to engage directly with Governor Murphy and informed him about Fidel\u2019s investment in New Jersey. The Governor expressed his appreciation and welcomed Fidel\u2019s contribution to the region.<\/p>\n Mr. Inamdar also interacted with several delegates, sharing that Fidel is open to exploring more avenues of investment and growth in New Jersey. Many representatives, including those from investment and compliance firms as well as academic institutions, expressed interest in supporting Indian organizations with accounting, audit, and compliance requirements in the U.S.<\/p>\n The session also featured insights on successful business expansions in New Jersey, underscoring the state\u2019s supportive environment for international companies. The discussions highlighted how Indian businesses can benefit from the region\u2019s resources, infrastructure, and business-friendly climate.<\/p>\n The IACC\u2019s initiative to host Governor Murphy provided a valuable platform for strengthening bilateral ties and encouraging further collaboration.
